Knowledge is the one crucial element that sets pharmacy personnel apart; the better the knowledge that is provided by the healthcare industry, the better the service level pharmacy staff can provide to customers. Ultimately a more professional service will lead to customer satisfaction and in turn increase sales. Marketing trends have shown that due to economic difficulties, more and more consumers will attempt to self medicate before going to a doctor – their first port of call is therefore the pharmacy and the first person they speak to is the pharmacy assistant.
Front Shop Retailing magazine has driven education over the last 10 years and one of the most important dates in the pharmacy calendar is the day the Front Shop Assistant and Pharmacist Assistant of the Year are awarded. This year we are taking the competition to a whole new level. The two competitions will be launched via an interactive mobile platform, electronic platform and via print media. The two competitions will include 1) The Pharmacist Assistant of the Year and 2) The Front Shop Assistant of the Year.
Competition details
