Nozohaem™ Nasal Gel is a convenient, easy-to-use, self-administered gel that stops nosebleeds.
Some important facts about Nozohaem™ Nasal Gel:
- The gel applies gentle pressure to the blood vessels and aids coagulation;
- The gel dries up after 30 minutes and any residue gel can be gently blown out;
- It contains Calcium and Glycine – together these ingredients work to effectively stop nosebleeds;
- The gel can be used by adults and children older than 7 years of age, or when children can apply the gel themselves.
Nozohaem™ Nasal Gel is a new and unique approach in the management of nosebleeds. Following application, the gel is transported backwards by the nasal cilia and can then be swallowed. This is completely harmless. If there is any gel left in the nose it can be gently blown out. The gel exerts an effect for about an hour. If the nosebleed is located in the front (anterior) of the nose, one tube is sufficient. If the nosebleed is located further back in the nose (posterior), two or in exceptional cases, three tubes, will be needed.

The suggested RSP is R90.00 for a box of 4 tubes of gel (5 ml each).
